About Us
A Practice Built on Depth and Relationship
How The Renewal Process came into being
This work has been shaped by thousands of conversations, ongoing personal therapy, and a commitment to trauma informed, attachment-focused care. The Renewal Process is the result of that unfolding - a clinic grounded in honesty, compassion, and the belief that renewal is possible at any stage of life.

Our Story
The Renewal Process began as a small private practice in 2013, grounded in a simple but deeply held belief: meaningful change happens when people feel truly seen, understood, and supported at a nervous-system level. Over time, this approach evolved through years of clinical work, advanced training, and careful attention to what clients needed, particularly those who felt traditional talk therapy hadn't gone far enough.
The work has been shaped not only by professional training and experience, but also by an ongoing commitment to personal therapeutic work. Continuing to sit on the other side of the therapeutic relationship has been essential in refining how this approach is practiced - deepening attunement, humility, and an embodied understanding of the process of change.
As the work deepened, so did the demand. Clients weren't just seeking coping strategies; they were looking for insight, repair, and lasting transformation. Honing this relational, trauma-informed, and body-based approach became both a craft and a calling - informed by experience, reflection, and a dedication to ethical, effective care.
With that growth came a desire to expand access without compromising quality. The Renewal Process has now evolved into a small clinic model, allowing this way of working to reach more people through thoughtful mentorship, shared values, and a consistent therapeutic philosophy. This expansion also reflects a return to something deeply meaningful: working within a team. After years of building and leading a large interdisciplinary team at Bloom, collaboration, learning, and community remain central to how this work is offered.
The Renewal Process continues to evolve, rooted in the same intention it began with - to offer therapy that is honest, relational, and transformative, while remaining deeply human and grounded.
Meet The Team

Welcome to the TLC Centre, home of The Renewal Process - a warm, welcoming space designed for healing, reflection, and connection. Our offices are intentionally created to feel safe, calm, and grounded, offering a supportive environment for all. We are an affirming space for LGBTQIA2S+ and BIPOC communities, and we honour the diversity of identities, relationships, and lived experiences that clients bring with them.
The TLC Centre includes six thoughtfully furnished offices where therapy, consultation, and small-group work take place. The space is quiet and comfortable, with attention to light, privacy, and sensory safety, so that sessions can unfold at a pace that feels right for you. The overall atmosphere is relational and human - never cold or clinical - and is designed to support both nervous-system settling and deeper therapeutic work.
Parking: The building's parking lot is located directly in front of the office. Additional parking is available in the adjacent lot just south of the building, and there is also free street parking on Third Street SW.
The TLC Centre is a place to exhale, slow down, and do the work of healing with support and care.

Join Our Community
The TLC Centre is more than a building, it's a community of practitioners who value depth, integrity, and honest human connection. We welcome therapists and allied professionals who are drawn to trauma-informed, attachment-focused, and somatic approaches, and who want to practice in a space that reflects those values.
Practitioners at the TLC Centre maintain their own independent practices while benefiting from a supportive environment, shared energy, and the opportunity for collegial consultation. Options may include furnished office rental, participation in peer consultation, and connection with The Renewal Process through mentorship or future collaborative opportunities.
If you're a practitioner who feels aligned with this way of working and are interested in space or community at the TLC Centre, we'd be happy to hear from you.
